Description

Women’s Resource Center empowers women to become economically self-sufficient and improve their lives through employment, career development and personal growth.  We work with unemployed or underemployed women who want to find meaningful work to support themselves and their families.

In support of WRC’s workforce development programs, individuals and businesses in West Michigan donate gently worn, high quality professional clothing and accessories.

The Business Boutique provides (by appointment only) the opportunity for active program participants to shop (for free) for clothing and accessories that are appropriate for job interviewing.

Boutique volunteers assist with receiving, sorting and organizing clothing donations, and for requested appointments, serve as personal shoppers helping individual participants find the right clothing for their situation.

A volunteer application, screening interview and completion of a background check is required for all applicants.

Currently all WRC staff, volunteers and visitors are required to wear a facemask and to observe health safety protocols while onsite.
