Childcare volunteers (1-2) will provide childcare for 1-5 children ages 6 months to 12 years while the Parent /Guardian is onsite at Women's Resource to attend a pre-planned program session (1-3 hours).
The Parent/Guardian is required to remain on site at WRC for the duration of the service time and will be asked to assist if the child needs assistance to go to the bathroom, a diaper change is needed or if the child becomes upset and cannot be calmed.
Childcare service is provided for specific WRC program session dates and times with Check-in upon arrival and Check-out when leaving.
Childcare volunteers must be skilled in interacting with and providing basic care to children of various ages and needs with the ability to watch over a child or group of children, maintaining safety, good order and keeping them entertained. Depending on the time of day and length of service, volunteers may distribute snacks.
Child Care Volunteer scheduling will be determined based on volunteer availability and WRC programming requests.
