Who We Are
Mission: To support low-income immigrants with free legal services and public advocacy.
JFON-WM is a ministry of hospitality in Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo and Traverse City that welcomes immigrants into our communities by providing affordable, high-quality immigration legal services, engaging in advocacy for immigrants’ rights and offering education to communities of faith and the public. As part of a nationwide outreach project of UMCOR and the United Methodist Church, JFON provides immigration legal services to those earning 200% of poverty or less.
What We Do
JFON-WM provides free, high-quality immigration legal services at monthly clinics. We engage in advocacy for immigrants’ rights and offer education on immigration issues to communities of faith and the public.
