Habitat Kent’s South ReStore (located on Division Ave near 54th Street) is seeking a friendly volunteer to help with scheduling donation pick ups. The ideal person for this role is someone who is comfortable answering and returning calls to customers and has some basic computer proficiency including Outlook email functions. She/he must be willing to learn Habitat Kent’s scheduling software.
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Screen and direct telephone calls with friendly, courteous, and personal attention.
- Return phone calls and work with scheduling software to identify a time for donation pick up and answer questions regarding donations.
- Provide those calling with relevant information on what donations are accepted at the ReStore, how to prepare for pick up, and accurate information on date/time pick up is scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills
- Good verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic Microsoft Office functions preferred
- Regular attendance
