Drive Our Students Home

We have been thrilled with the expansion and success of our Resurgence after-school program. We have over 75 kids registered from two different schools, and more interest happening every day. One of the foundations of our program is providing safe spaces for kids after school, and one of the ways that we do this is by providing transportation home after our program. As you can imagine, as the program grows this piece becomes a logistical challenge. However, we think this is an important way we can serve kids and families and this is where you can help. We are currently in great need of volunteer drivers and transportation assistants. We are currently looking to recruit up to 20 volunteers at each site that could give 1 1/2 - 2 hours once a week, from 4:00-6:00p. This simple service would greatly support our work and increase our capacity to equip and empower these kids to become future leaders. Would you consider joining our transportation team?
