The purpose of Better, Wiser, Stronger, Inc. Is to mentor young men to build a life platform of respect, confidence and strong relationships while reducing and removing barriers that have lessened their ability to have successful life outcomes. In addition to our 8-12-week sessions which focus on positive self-image, leadership, and life skills, we also offer tutoring to our participants during the school year.
We are looking for tutors/homework helpers who can assist students with their homework once a week (Tuesdays for the 2022-2023 school year) from 3:30-6:30pm. Our students are primarily 4th-8th graders who need assistance in Reading and Math. Number of students each night can range from 0-5 students per homework helper.
Although we welcome commitments of any length, preference will be given to tutors who can commit to at least 6 weeks per semester.
